Jake Anderson
I am currently in my 18th year teaching at Eden Valley-Watkins. I am originally from Newfolden, MN. I graduated from Bemidji State University with a degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on 5-8 Mathematics and also have a Masters Degree from St. Scholastica in Educational Technology. I currently reside in Cold Spring, Minnesota with my wife and our two sons.
I believe that creating a learning environment that is fun and engaging is a major key to the educational success of my students. I want to instill in my students a passion for learning that will last them a lifetime and be contagious to those around them. I believe that there are many different ways and approaches of solving a problem and I want my students to have the tools to solve or figure out any problem they may encounter in the classroom and life. Lastly, I want to create a learning environment where my students feel safe and confident in themselves and their abilities and feel open to share their knowledge with their peers.
In my free time, I can be found over at the high school coaching. I am currently the 8th grade football coach, Head boys' basketball coach, and Head Girls' Golf coach. In my spare time, I enjoy being on the golf course, fishing, and spending time with my family.

Adam Tri
Hi!
My name is Adam Tri, and I am a 6th grade teacher here at Eden Valley-Watkins. I have been teaching since 2010. I have worked with students from 4th grade to 6th grade. I am originally from Eden Valley, and I graduated from EV-W high school. I have three children, Parker, Brinlee, and Kyler. My wife Krista also works at EV-W schools.
I enjoy spending every day with kids. I think it's important to have a fun and engaging classroom that keeps kids intrigued. It's vital that kids feel safe and secure in the classroom and that they aren't afraid to make mistakes. I enjoy seeing that growth that students have not only throughout the school year, but throughout their lives as well.
In my spare time I enjoy being involved in different sporting activites and following my favorite team the New England Patriots. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. If you ever have any questions please don't hesitate to email me at school or call. My extension 2110.
