First Grade
Mickael Maciej
Hello! My name is Mickael Maciej, and I am a first-grade teacher in the Eden Valley-Watkins School District. I have also taught third, fifth, and sixth grade throughout my career. I graduated from Eden Valley-Watkins High School in 2013 and love being back in the district where I grew up and began my own education.
After high school, I attended Saint Cloud State University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I graduated from SCSU in December 2016 and spent the remainder of the school year substitute teaching in the Eden Valley-Watkins School District before becoming a full-time teacher.
Along with teaching, I also coach volleyball and softball. I currently serve as the head volleyball coach and JV softball coach. I have always been passionate about the importance of extracurricular activities and the opportunities they provide for students to grow, build relationships, and develop skills beyond the classroom.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy hunting, fishing, golfing, playing volleyball, traveling, and spending time on the lake with family and friends. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Eden Valley-Watkins community and enjoy having the opportunity to work with and support our students.
