Fourth Grade

Jayna Ruprecht

My name is Jayna Ruprecht and I live near Paynesville with my husband David and our daughters Kennedy and Penelope. I graduated with an Elementary Education degree from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 2013 and later my Masters from St. Kate's. After graduating I began work at Hancock Public School in Hancock, MN. I taught at Hancock for three years. During my time there I taught Kindergarten and first grade! I also coached speech for the Hancock Varsity speech team. After having our daughter Kennedy my husband and I decided we wanted to move home to be closer to family. That decision has afforded me the opportunity to work in the wonderful school district of Eden Valley- Watkins.

At EVW I have been fortunate to teach 4th grade and Kindergarten! Many things hold true for me at any age and one of them is that I love watching students learn and grow. I work to have each student know that they are valued by me and I care for them deeply. I believe that we are a community of learners and together we can have great success if we support one another. I also want my students to take pride and ownership in their classroom. They need to know that this is their space. A space where they feel safe, comfortable, and free to express their ideas and grow.

In my spare time I enjoy golfing, water sports, crafting, and spending time with my family.

Haylee Weege

Hello!

My name is Haylee Weege and this is my seventh year teaching at EVW. I also coach C-Squad volleyball. I grew up in Annandale, MN and currently live in Litchfield with my husband. I graduated from the College of Saint Benedict with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education, K-6. I also have a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I am passionate about making connections and building relationships with all of the students that walk through my classroom door. I believe that every student has the ability to shine. I strive to be the teacher that can help those students realize their true potential. I am eager to get to know the students and families of EVW and help them be the best they can be!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors and spending time with my family. My favorite activities are kayaking, hiking, camping, and ice fishing.
