Adam Tri
Hi!
My name is Adam Tri, and I am a 6th grade teacher here at Eden Valley-Watkins. I have been teaching since 2010. I have worked with students from 4th grade to 6th grade. I am originally from Eden Valley, and I graduated from EV-W high school. I have three children, Parker, Brinlee, and Kyler. My wife Krista also works at EV-W schools.
I enjoy spending every day with kids. I think it's important to have a fun and engaging classroom that keeps kids intrigued. It's vital that kids feel safe and secure in the classroom and that they aren't afraid to make mistakes. I enjoy seeing that growth that students have not only throughout the school year, but throughout their lives as well.
In my spare time I enjoy being involved in different sporting activites and following my favorite team the New England Patriots. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. If you ever have any questions please don't hesitate to email me at school or call. My extension 2110.

Makayla Schutz
Hello!
My name is Makayla Schutz. I graduated from College of Saint Benedict in May 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in 5-8 Mathematics. I student taught in 6th Grade in Eden Valley and over at the High School in Math in the Spring of 2023. After graduation I started teaching 6th Grade at Eden Valley- Watkins Elementary in the fall of 2023.
I grew up and currently live in Cold Spring. I enjoy camping, reading, fishing, swimming, spending time with my family and friends and going on walks.
My goal as a Sixth Grade teacher is to help students achieve their goals along with creating a fun, collaborative, safe and engaging learning environment. I am excited to be a part of my students' transitions over to High School and prepare them for the future. My goal is to have my students be excited to come into my classroom each day!
