Mrs. Jessica Jarvis
Hello!
My name is Jessica Jarvis. I graduated from Annandale High School many years ago. I then attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, earning a degree in K-6 Elementary Education with a 6-8 Literature/Communications concentration. Additionally, I hold a Master's degree in Learning Design and Technology and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. I am passionate about implementing the latest research and best practices to create dynamic, research-based lessons that meet every student where they are and push them toward success.
I spent my first four years teaching at GFW (Gibbon/Fairfax/Winthrop), with one year in 2nd grade and three years in Kindergarten. I've been a proud member of the EVW School District for the past 13 years, where I taught first grade for nine years, and this is now my fourth year teaching third grade!
Outside of the classroom, I'm a busy wife and mom to two wonderful children. We also have a very loved, sometimes loud, beagle who keeps us on our toes! When I have free time, you can usually find me exploring the outdoors while camping, soaking up the energy at a concert, or satisfying my curiosity by traveling to new places.
