For the 2018-2019 school year, Eden Valley-Watkins Secondary School will continue a new phase of technology for students which will utilize a Dual Funded (BYOD) Bring Your Own Device Model. Our district’s strategic plan recommends that efforts be made to provide access to technology for students in a fiscally and responsible manner. The Dual Funded BYOD program has provided youth with access to technology that is affordable to families and financially sustainable to EV-W. In addition, Dual Funded access presents an opportunity for parents and students to make personal decisions on the type of device that will work best for them.
