Hello! My name is Samantha Athmann and this will be my eighth year teaching at Watkins Elementary as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. I am passionate about creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment where all children can learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential. I live in Cold Spring with my husband, our four-year-old daughter, our two-year-old son, and our chocolate lab. I graduated from Saint Cloud State University with my degree in Early Childhood Special Education. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing with my kids, being outdoors, spending time on and near the water, and reading. When I have free time and on the weekends, I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I am grateful to be a part of this wonderful school community and look forward to another great year!
