Tracy Huhn

Hi, my name is Tracy Huhn.  I am one of two agricultural education teachers here at Eden Valley-Watkins and have been teaching in the district since 2008.  Originally from Rush City, I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors of Science degree in Agriculture Education.

I firmly believe in learning through experience.  Students will be active learners through hands-on activities.  I currently teach Food Chemistry, Agricultural Economics, Small Gas Engines, MN Wildlife, Natural Resources, Ag7, Veterinary Science, Small Animal Science, and Supervised Agricultural Experience Programs.  Students can earn their Chemistry and Economics credits in my courses.  SAEP includes proficiency applications, record keeping, discovery, greenhand, chapter, and state degrees.

I also advise and coach an award-winning FFA chapter.  Our Fish & Wildlife teams won state and competed at Nationals in 2024.  Numerous students have earned their state and American FFA degrees.  We also conduct service learning projects, fruit sale fundraiser, and agricultural literacy programs.  Our chapter continues to grow, and we are currently coaching 20+ CDE/LDE teams.

I grew up on a large hog farm, where I fell in love with animal agriculture.  I currently live on a small hobby farm near Litchfield with my husband and two children. We raise registered Simmental cattle.  We also farm corn and soybeans with my in-laws.
