Rachel Neu

Hello - My name is Rachel Neu and I have been teaching math at Eden Valley high school since 2015.  I currently teach Geometry, Algebra 2A, Algebra 2B and Honors Algebra 2.  I have been teaching since 2005, when I graduated from Saint Cloud State University.  Since then, I have completed my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Saint Mary's in the Twin Cities.  I completed my Masters Degree in December of 2015.  I have taught in a number of schools and am very happy to be a part of the EVW staff.  I have taught in Hinckley, Hutchinson, Saint Cloud Tech (high school), and Renville County West (RCW).  I have taught math to students who were new the country, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra 1.5, Geometry, Algebra II, Algebra III, Pre-Calculus, AP Statistics, Probability and Statistics, and also some remedial classes for students in grades 7-11 along with teaching credit recovery (night school).

I moved to Eden Valley in 2011 and moved out to the Cyrilla Beach area between Eden Valley and Paynesville in 2016.  I have a son, Jack Bates, who is currently working as a financial analyst for an engineering company out of Minneapolis.  My daughter Reegan is currently going into 1st grade at Eden Valley Elementary School.  My husband is Kyle Neu, who is a 1998 graduate of EVW who currently works in Annandale as as estimator at Hot Mix and also is a Realtor at Riverwood Realty out of Eden Valley.

In my free time, I love to spend time at our lake cabin in Kimball in the summer, attend Eagle sporting events, attend concerts, travel, and spend time with family and friends. My daughter keeps me busy as she is growing and learning and is quite adventurous.

I hope I've had the pleasure of getting to know your student (or hope to in the future) and look forward to a great school year.  Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions and concerns.  My number one goal is to do whatever I can to help your student be successful in my class and I have many tools and options that we can try to get them there.  I am available before and after school most days and can arrange additional help for your student when needed.  I look forward to working with you and your student,

Rachel Neu
