Mrs. Stephanie Borscheid
Hello- My name is Stephanie Borscheid, and I’m an Eden Valley Watkins graduate. I graduated from Eden Valley Watkins in 2010. I then moved up to Duluth to complete my degree in Teaching Mathematics in Grades 5-12 with a coaching minor at the University of Minnesota Duluth. This is my 11th year here at EVW. The courses I teach currently are Pre-Algebra and Resource Math. I also teach Credit Recovery for students who need to recover credits in the summer months; those classes are Geometry and Algebra 2. You can also see me coaching the C-Squad Girls’ Basketball and Softball teams. I went back to school in 2018 to receive my Master's degree in Special Education with a focus on Specific Learning Disabilities at Concordia St. Paul. In 2024, I completed my Educational Specialist (Ed.S) to receive my principal license. I'm a lifelong learner and believe that you can always learn and grow as an individual.
When not at school, I'm a full-time mom to my two kids, Ryker and Aubrey. They keep me very busy at home! I have been married to my husband for 9 years. We have a family dog. Most have seen him around town because Chase is a part of the K9 Unit for the Eden Valley Police Department and works with my husband. In my free time, I enjoy reading, camping, going for walks, playing outside with my kids, spending time with family and friends, and attending the different sporting events here at EVW (Go Eagles!)
I hope to have the opportunity to get to know you and your students. My professional belief for students is that every student has the right to a high-quality education where they feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to be who they are. My goal is for all students to feel confident and successful in the classroom. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or comments. I’m excited to see what the year brings, and can’t wait to work with you and your students!
