Hello! My name is Amanda Meyer, and I have been an English teacher at EVW since 2024. I am originally from Paynesville, MN. I graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Arts & Literature Secondary Education. 

I believe that every student is an important part of each class and brings their own knowledge and insight into the classroom that everyone can learn from.The classroom environment I create reflects this belief and gives each student a place to have their voice and opinion heard while also being mindful of others’ thoughts. I believe reading, writing, and speaking are essential skills that help each student prepare them for their future - whatever that may be!
