Hello! I am Kimberly Salo and I have been the Instrumental Music Instructor at EVW since 1991. I teach 5^th and 6^th grade band, as well as 5^th and 6^th grade General Music at the EV Elementary. At the High School I teach JR Band, SR Band, Jazz Ensemble and Pep Band. I am also the Tri-M Music Honor Society Advisor. During the summer I direct the Marching Band and teach Summer Rec classes for Community Ed.

A native of Annandale, I currently live in Richmond with my husband Daniel and our daughter, Emma. Our older children, Eli and Erin, are students at UMD.

The best part about my job is watching the students grow as musicians and people over the 8 years that they are in the band program!
